"Dark brown in colour with a good head. On the nose there is salted caramel, apparent but not overpowering, with vanilla, hazelnut and a hint of cherry. Incredibly sticky and sweet on the palate with treacle and molasses. Very boozy with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel."

"Very dark with chestnut brown tints; head dissipates quickly. On the nose, chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla and the suggestion of asafoetida in the background; the latter note changes the direction on how one perceives the beer — palate is quite boozy and hot which somehow relegates the creaminess, chocolate and the spice to the background until a chilli-like spice comes out and lingers in the finish. It’s an intriguing beer, intriguing counter plea between the honey, chocolate, maple syrup and spice all happening within the confines of an imperial stout."
